On your very first use, your browser downloads a lightweight machine learning model (~30MB) that performs the image segmentation. Once downloaded, the model is cached in your browser so future background removals load almost instantly.

You can upload PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF, and HEIC files. The output will always be exported as a transparent PNG to preserve the removed background.
