By accessing or using ZeroPNG at zeropng.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ZeroPNG is a free, browser-based image compression tool. The Service processes images entirely within your web browser using client-side technologies. No images are uploaded to or stored on our servers.

The Service supports the following operations:

• Lossy and lossless image compression
• Format conversion (PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF)
• Image resizing
• Batch processing and ZIP download

3. Use of the Service

You may use the Service for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to it
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a manner that exceeds normal usage
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the Service

4. Intellectual Property

a) Our Content

The Service, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and text (excluding user-provided images), is owned by ZeroPNG and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.

b) Your Content

You retain full ownership of all images you process through the Service. Since your images are never uploaded to our servers, we have no access to, ownership of, or rights to your content at any time.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy or reliability of compression results
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Compatibility with all browsers or devices

Image compression is inherently lossy (depending on settings) and may result in reduced image quality. You are responsible for reviewing compressed images before using them and for maintaining backups of your original files.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZeroPNG and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or image quality
• Loss of profits or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from browser crashes or device performance issues
• Any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (which is $0, as ZeroPNG is free).

7. Third-Party Services

The Service uses the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics - for anonymous usage analytics
• Google AdSense - for displaying advertisements
• JSZip - for creating ZIP downloads (open-source, MIT license)

These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep ZeroPNG available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
